Colorful Eclectic Girl Bedroom Interior Design Project Description
6 year old girl's bedroom - want to design from the ground up to give her a bedroom she will love and use for more than just sleeping.The room itself is fairly large - about 11' x 18'. would want to include a desk/workspace as well as a reading nook (small couch?). need lighting (no built in lighting) and wall art/decor as well.

Flooring isn't very nice, furniture is mismatched and room is not very cozy - both from a sleeping at night perspective and using during the day.Would like to make sure it functions comfortably as a bedroom, but also has reading/work areas (desk? reading nook or couch/chairs?) to be used at other times.
What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?
not tied to any existing furniture - can start from scratch. I have some a column lamp and a storage bench, but neither needs to stay.
