Contemporary Family Room Design Project Description
I need help with buying furniture for the living and dining room theme and make it coherent.I'd like it to be minimal
there are 6 kids in the house so I'd like it to be safe and proofed
I'd like built in kitchenette, TV unit, and book cabinets.
I don't prefer open shelves since my kids usually climb them which are not save.
I've weekly visitors so I'd like it to be welcoming.
I'd like storage space for throws, pillows, and living accessories if possible.

Combined Living/Dining:
Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use light gray because it is neutral and seen as elegant and classy. It compliments many colors such as white, blue, and yellow and works well as part of a color scheme in any room. Also, as your living room has so much light, this color can reduce the ligt.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
