Project Description

We are looking to update our house with a contemporary farmhouse style. Looking to carry a consistent design style throughout the house. We are looking to spend 2K-10K on our master bedroom update.

Additional comments to designers

Here are some of the items we would like to have incorporated into the design:
-Padded headboard (have king bed base that is motorized)
-Bench at end of the bed
-Sitting area by the fireplace and/or by the windows to watch the sunrise
-Accent wall of some kind (see Pinterest ideas)
-Our dog sleeps in our room so would be great to conceal the dog crate in some way
-Side tables with storage (prefer drawers)

Bedroom:

I would recommend eggshell finish for trims, doors, and the accent wall and then a more flat for the walls.

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
