Cynthia T.
Cynthia's career began working in large financial institutions, until one day she decided to explore opportunities for a career as an interior designer. She attended the New York School of Interior Design where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts. While attending, Cynthia's portfolio was one of three selected from all New York City design schools by Traditional Home Magazine for a design competition. The project consisted of the redevelopment of a rundown motel being converted into luxury beach front condominiums. Traditional Home required the use of their sponsor list to design the entire project. The completed projects became a Hamptons showhouse and the proceeds benefited the restoration and development of the historic Montauk Playhouse, a community center for the arts education, recreation and human services. As a designer she has had the opportunity to work on a vast array of projects spanning from residential to commercial interiors, as well as charitable design work for various religious institutions. Cynthia strives to create articulate elegant and calming interiors that convey subtle understated richness. By doing so she incorporates an innate sense of sensual fabrics and subtle color palettes to an exquisite range of furniture, fixtures and artwork. Essential to her design values is functional space planning to create harmonious, peaceful, and comfortable interiors.
