Elegant Transitional Master Bathroom Renovation

Project Description

Need design guidance for planned master bathroom renovation. We have a contractor already with a floorplan and allowances. We are looking for guidance with selecting vanity, tile, fixture etc. Historic 100yr old home that want to reflect in elements of the style while keeping it fresh and clean. Like concept of darker vanity (navy, slate), more historic floors. House has a lot of brass/brushed gold accents throughout. Its a long narrow room. Hoping for a continuous floor with a "wet room" concept and a tub against the back wall.

Bathroom:

Since your room is smaller using a light and pale color will enhance the light and the space in your room

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint for walls which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish Use a semi-gloss paint finish for trim as it is ideal for bathrooms and cabinets. It has a slight shine and is easy to clean.
