Project Description

I need to change a few items and finish the transofmraiton of my living room while keeping my majors items.

What's your favorite decor style?

Contemporary

What are some of the interior design brands or stores that you like to shop at?

I like finding MCM stuff on etsy and 1st dibs. I also like what a lot of CB2 does. Organic modernism. I have NO IDEA why the questionaire says my favorite brands are Surya and Horchow. I have never gotten anything there

What do you currently dislike about the room?

It doesn't feel tied together. It has legacy pieces from before I started redoing it.
1) Floating console: wrong style and I want something narrower that isn't attached to the wall.
2) Need to do something about the corner on the far side of the tv and the near side of the couch
3) need to figure out new stools for my dining table/desk.
4) New side tables
5) Needs a better lamp and maybe other items / pillows

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

1) Sconces
2) couch
3) one of the two Kofod Larsen chairs
4) Coffee table, but this isn't a must keep
5) Dining table/desk. I had this marble and base made.
6) Breuer chairs (aren't a must keep but I like them a lot).

Additional comments to designers

I want to primarily redo my media console and get something narrower that isn't floating. Then I can add some stools that match my current dining setup. I have a fire door near my couch I was thinking of putting a screen in front of to hide it. thought this would work, but can't find one

I like mid-century mixed with black and white contemporary. The Larsen chair I have mixed with black and white and cane is a vibe I love.
