before we put the deck in it was really unusable space. I want an inviting, comfortable peaceful oudoor space where we can relax and have friends and family.

What pieces of existing furniture, lighting, art or accessories do you want to keep in the design?

we have already chosen modular oudoor kitchen from Ikea Grillskar line. This will go up against the wall under the pergola. also we would like an TV on that wall. other than that we are pretty open.

i need dining for 6-8. ideally maybe an table for 4 or 6 that is extendable with an umbrella hole. outdoor TV and comfortable furniture to hang out under the pergola ( pergola is 10 by 10 feet) We live in New Orleans very hot and muggy and humid with lots of rain so need furniture that can withstand that . I would love an outdoor fireplace ( I was thinking where the grill is right now I could put some seating and a fireplace.)
