Natasa P.
Natasha is an Interior design professional, with 8 years of experience working on various residential, hospitality and commercial projects. After receiving her degree in Interior and Furniture design in 2010, she started her career in Serbian company, advising the clients on interior design factors such as space planning, utilization of furnishings and equipment and color combination. Four years later she decides to expend her experience and to get the chance to work on various projects in term of styles and cultures. She moves to Dubai. During the next 2 years she enjoyed working with dozens of clients, building a strong portfolio in different styles and understanding different spaces, forms and clients needs and wishes. Now, she produces mostly modern and eclectic interiors with special attention to details, always having clients needs and personality as a main feature. Traveling is her great love, as she believes it affects most of anyone's life aspects, especially creativity, and always trying to stay in touch with new tendencies in design, fashion and architecture as well as cultural differences in these fields throughout the world. Finally she found herself as a freelancer.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
Life. Traveling. People. I love going to showrooms, to go to fairs and events, and to meet and learn from interesting people. Everything that makes me happy, can inspire me. Everything that makes me a better designer, I cherish.
Tell us your biggest design secret:
Whenever I enter a new space -like a restaurant, hotel lobby or a living room- I am analyzing the space in the back of my head! I try to understand what is it about this space that creates this mood or feeling for me. I go over the color combination, material selection, scale and proportion and the details and try to get a sense of its personality. It's quite fun!
What drives you to design?
I love that design is problem solving from a creative perspective. I truly enjoy creating spaces that reflects a client’s personality and responds well to their lifestyle needs, while offering an aesthetically pleasing and pleasant atmosphere. It is truly an exciting and rewarding process.
