Project Description

I have a baby boy due in December. I have some ideas and know what I like but I need someone with a better eye pulling it all together. I also just don't have time with my work to devote the time needed to make this room what I want it to be.

What are some of the interior design brands or stores that you like to shop at?

Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn make up the majority of the furniture in my house. I like neutrals (white, ivory, gray) with a soft accent color (gold, navy blue, etc)

The room is "Room 3" in the attached floor plan. This is the color of the carpet: https://shawfloors.com/flooring/carpet/details/titanium-tonal-ea711/glacier-caves.
I would like it to be gold hardware (curtain rod, etc)
My style is Restoration Hardware (the less modern stuff) and Pottery Barn.
While some dark colors are ok, overall I want it to be light (the walls are painted a soft white, but I'm interested in the wallpapers listed)
I'm hoping to keep this ~$5K.

Nursery:

Using lighter colors in your medium-sized room will make it feel more airy and bright

For your main color, we chose to use blue because it is calming, relaxing, and serene. It ris reminiscent of blue skies and deep blue oceans. This color works well in bedrooms and can help turn your space into a soothing sanctuary. The inspiration for the Harbor Haze is from the "Haint Blue" paint historically used throughout the south. I recommend matching your paint samples to your wall covering, and staying within the aqua/blue/grey families.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
