Project Description

I need help completing/refining the look in my living and dining room. I have invested in a couple key pieces that I love (like my couches) but need help making the space feel more inviting. I want it to feel formal/sophisticated but still warm and welcoming. Mostly need help figuring out the flow of the room, right now I feel like there is a lot of symmetry happening. The wall with my sideboard feels empty - I've tried a variety of mirrors but nothing seems to work. Perhaps that whole area needs to be reworked. I love vintage prints and neutral colors (also blues, black, gray, pops of greenery), but feel like I need a pop of contemporary design/color to make sure the vibe isn't too stale/boring. Throw pillows are an area I really struggle in! The cape cod shutters are something I love and in general, I love the look of Serena & Lily but want to make sure we are respectful of our Seattle weather/environment :) My husband and I are newlyweds and just bought the house last July, we are 29-30 years old so want to make sure the space feels fresh! Can't wait to work with you.
