Rosela B.
Growing up in a home of artists, architects and photographers has given me a deep appreciation and love for art. I grew up in Mexico, moved to the United States for grad school and lived in Paris. As a result, my spaces have a culturally undefined voice formed by my multicultural perspective.
My work revolves around creating experiences with the five senses in mind, the materials we touch, the proportions and textures we see and the smells we perceive. Ultimately, I strive to create spaces with a tension between masculine and feminine energy, with a timeless aesthetic and richness in detail.
From where do you draw most of your inspiration?
History. I love the mix of old and new elements for a timeless look.
What drives you to design?
Beauty, I find beauty in the most unique things but it all comes down to the composition. Art, food, music, fashion are all compositions that were curated to look the way they look.
Describe your ideal project:
Having fun with the client. It's all about creating a partnership that makes us both happy.
