Project Description

We've moved into a new apartment with gorgeous river views and I would like it to be a little escape from the busyness of NYC. I would like it to feel contemporary, classy, natural and tranquil... with a little touch of glam perhaps!

Surya and Nuevo also have some nice coffee tables/side tables/ottomans and more.
I really like Leftbank for art selection and quality. I feel you can literally find anything there and all the frames are customizable.

We would prefer to keep it white, but open to paint or wallpaper if it makes a big difference.

It's empty.
Need mostly everything including art, sofa, rug, side tables, coffee table, decor/accessories, lighting, TV console etc.
Currently there is no lighting except for in the kitchen and hallway. Open to sconces, table and/or floor lamps

Clear bar stools and 46" TV and the sheer window shades that are there now.

Combined Living/Dining:

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. White and off-white colors are often a favorite for walls because they are light, neutral, and match most color schemes. They are known to make rooms feel more airy and spacious.

Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish
